The ADLINK PCIe-8332/PCIe-8334/PCIe-8338 are hardware-based EtherCAT motion controllers supporting up to 64 synchronized axes and simultaneous processing of data from more than 10,000 I/O points. Each controller provides a dedicated, isolated emergency-stop (EMG) input and configurable isolated high-speed digital inputs. These inputs can be used for general-purpose sensor signals as well as high-speed pulse inputs, with an input frequency of up to 1 MHz.
With a minimum EtherCAT cycle time of 250 μs and optimized jitter control, the PCIe-833x series provides high synchronization performance for demanding automation applications, particularly in semiconductor and electronics manufacturing.
The PCIe-8332/PCIe-8334/PCIe-8338 includes ADLINK's Application Programming Software (APS) library, providing a flexible programming interface for multi-axis, highly synchronized, deterministic motion and I/O control, including event-triggered operations. The APS library also simplifies integration with compatible third-party EtherCAT devices.
ADLINK's MotionCreator Pro2™ software is fully compatible with Microsoft Windows™, providing a convenient environment for EtherCAT motion and I/O configuration, system testing, functional evaluation, and program deployment.
