The E2-M300 is built on the INtime real-time operating system, combining EtherCAT-based motion control and I/O control with an x86 Windows computing platform to create an open, high-performance platform specifically designed for integrated motion and machine vision applications.
The system separates real-time control from the Windows operating environment by allocating dedicated CPU cores and memory resources to the real-time system. This enables deterministic and stable real-time control without being affected by Windows processes or background activities. At the same time, the latest generation of Intel Core processors provides the computing performance required for demanding machine vision and image-processing applications, while supporting GPU expansion for more advanced vision workloads. This architecture enables efficient utilization of the multi-core processing capabilities of the x86 platform while maintaining reliable real-time control.
The E2-M300A is designed for demanding, high-performance motion-control applications, including high-speed material handling, high-speed feeding and unloading, dual-drive gantry systems, and other high-speed, high-precision equipment commonly found in semiconductor and 3C manufacturing.
In addition to the standard E2-M300A models, Sense Intelligence offers the E2-M300C Professional Series to meet the specific requirements of different customers and applications. The Professional Series supports customized configurations across multiple aspects of the system, including the mechanical enclosure and form factor, hardware platform, motion-control algorithms, and software functionality, enabling the platform to be tailored to the specific requirements of individual machines and production processes.
