The 29th China (Wenzhou) International Leather, Shoe Materials and Shoe Machinery Exhibition was held at the Wenzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center from August 20 to 22. As one of China's leading footwear manufacturing hubs, Wenzhou is home to thousands of footwear companies and shoemaking machinery manufacturers.

The exhibition focused on key transformation needs across the footwear industry, including rapid response to small-batch orders, accelerated style iteration, digital pattern making, and flexible cutting. Sense Intelligence showcased its S2 Series intelligent scanning and digitizing system, demonstrating how digital pattern capture, high-precision pattern replication, and end-to-end data connectivity can address traditional challenges such as low efficiency, high error rates, and lengthy pattern replacement cycles, helping footwear manufacturers accelerate their transition to digital production.

During the exhibition, Sense Intelligence demonstrated the complete S2 Series workflow, from flat scanning of physical shoe samples and automatic contour extraction to pattern editing, optimization, file export, and integration with cutting equipment. The team also provided one-on-one technical demonstrations and application guidance for a range of footwear styles, including formal, sports, and casual shoes.

The exhibition provided an opportunity for local shoemaking machinery manufacturers, footwear manufacturers, and pattern-making professionals to discuss practical digital pattern-making solutions and explore ways to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and support flexible small-batch production and rapid product development.

By combining visual digitization with precision scanning, the S2 Series helps transform traditional footwear pattern-making workflows and supports the industry's transition toward flexible and intelligent manufacturing.
